In the face of COVID-19, Bright Horizons wanted to quickly create an online destination for families to continue learning at home.
During the height of the pandemic child care and early education centers across the country had to close their doors. Leading the charge to bring world-class education from the classroom to the living room was our long-term client, Bright Horizons.
How Imarc partnered
The challenge
Imarc was asked to help Bright Horizons create a vibrant online learning destination that would allow them to continue providing education and support to the 200,000 parents and children who are part of the Bright Horizons family.

The solution
The Imarc team worked as an extension of the Bright Horizons team, ensuring that the design and user experience fulfilled the needs of their customers. The group was collaborative, nimble, and quick in the design and development of the new Craft website.
The website provided a wide range of activities that followed the major learning areas children would experience in a child care center, such as STEM, art, cooking, and more. The administrative team regularly uploaded new activities such as videos to keep children and families engaged. Activities were broken out by age group to make the experience easy for parents to navigate.

The future
This learning resource was only designed to support families during an unprecedented time and has since been sunset, but Imarc’s work with this educational industry leader continued for many years.
Imarc had also assisted Bright Horizons with other projects like their Bright Horizons College Coach website redesign and optimizing their lead flow for potential families that want child care at one of the over 1,000 worldwide Bright Horizons centers.
