We have very exciting news to share! Imarc CEO and Managing Partner Nick Grant will be resigning from his position and taking on an advisory role as Chairman Emeritus. Effective Wednesday, September 23, Imarc founder and 17-year CEO Nils Menten will be returning to the company as our new CEO.
We’d like to thank Nick for 21 years of dedication to the company, including the last six years leading Imarc as CEO. Under his leadership, Imarc’s team has more than doubled in size, won countless awards, and expanded across the country. Nick engineered the build-out and transition to our beautiful offices in Amesbury, MA. He will assist the incoming CEO in a very smooth and seamless leadership transition. We thank him and wish him all the best as he prepares for the next exciting chapter of his life and professional career.
A note from Nick Grant:
“As I reflect back on my career here at Imarc, I am so proud of all we have accomplished together. Now, it’s time for me to take on the next phase of my life and begin a new journey. I am honored and thankful to have led the agency for the last six years and to have been a part of the journey for the past 21 years. This decision was not taken lightly, and I will always support the incredibly talented team at Imarc.”
We’re excited to welcome Nils Menten back as Imarc’s CEO. Nils was instrumental in building Imarc from the ground up, taking it from a wild idea and growing it into one of the most highly decorated agencies in New England. Nils has spent the last six years building his former passion into one of the best motorcycle restoration workshops in the country. Meanwhile, he also developed a successful commercial real estate business. With his battery fully recharged, we’re looking forward to the energy and passion Nils will bring to the Imarc team.
For many years, Nils worked with Nick and current Imarc Partner Dave Tufts. Their collaboration transformed the company into the Imarc we know today. Together, they navigated the company through the boom and bust of the dot-com era and beyond. We’re all excited to be reunited after six years apart, and we truly feel that the best is yet to come.
A note from Imarc Partner Patrick McPhail:
“It was important for us to choose a leader who would fit our culture and has a true passion for the company. As Nils was responsible for establishing much of our culture and has always been invested in our success, he was a natural choice.”
A note from Imarc CEO and founder Nils Menten:
“I was very proud of the company I turned over to Nick and the team six years ago, and for good reason – it was a gem. During the last six years, Nick Grant, Dave Tufts, Katie Desmond, and Patrick McPhail have truly taken it to the next level, and it's a rare privilege for me to be able to return to lead the company again. I wish Nick and his family the best in his new endeavors. We’re all so grateful for his valuable assistance during this transition and beyond.”
This transition will be nearly undetectable to our customers and business partners. We look forward to the strategic growth that will come from this transition. We will continue to provide our clients with exceptional service and innovative solutions. If you have any questions, please contact us partners@imarc.com.
