The project
Anvil International has been a leading global distributor of pipe products and services for over 150 years. In 2019, Anvil International completed a merger with Smith-Cooper International. The new company, ASC Engineered Solutions went through a rebranding process and looked to Imarc to bring that to life online. Developed on Craft 3, the new website aligns with ASC’s new brand objectives and positions the company as an industry leader.
Bringing the new brand to life
In 2017, Imarc redesigned the Anvil International website. Following Anvil’s merger with Smith-Cooper International, Imarc incorporated new brand assets and designs into the front- and back-end of the website. New website modules also align with the fresh brand to help reflect the merger.
Laying the groundwork
Imarc prepared for the new website by updating the Craft 3 content management system (CMS) that ASC was on at the time so that it would be ready once the designs were completed. Imarc updated product categories and search filters, and revised the site navigation to ensure a smooth, enjoyable user experience.
Ensuring top-notch performance
Imarc’s front-end developers incorporated user experience updates and new visual designs throughout the site. The developers also produced a new and improved HTML for the global template, in addition to a new header, footer, and navigation. Imarc delivered a polished final product that elevates ASC’s online presence.
Our shared vision
Imarc leveraged its development capabilities to build a website that highlights the new ASC Engineering Solutions brand and incorporates extensive user experience updates. In the future, Imarc will work with ASC to integrate with their Order Pro platform and will perform routine usability audits and creative reviews to ensure that the site continues to perform optimally.
