The situation
When Imarc first engaged with CosmeticRx, their company was just starting out. For their fresh company, they needed an equally fresh website experience built on strategy and supported with strong Branding.
The challenge
As CosmeticRx was an entirely new company, it was important for Imarc to deliver an approachable, professional, educational teledermatology website that appealed to their primary demographic. In the case of CosmeticRx, that demographic was women who were seeking a convenient way to get their eyelash and skincare prescriptions checked by licensed professionals and delivered to their door. This request was further complicated by the fact that this web experience needed to abide by strict HIPPA regulations in order to fully succeed.
The solution
Our strategy team first spent time building in-depth personas that were dialed into the two products CosmeticRx was planning to feature at launch and then worked to establish a logical buy flow and wireframes that aligned with their ideal customer journeys.
After the strategic foundation was built, our creative team took over. In the case of CosmeticRx, it was essential that the visuals signal that they are a reputable, high-class Brand. To make that a reality, lots of tailored imagery was sourced and created to support the overall identity. The smart Brand work they created allowed for a sleek visual ecommerce experience.
After the visual experience was complete, our engineering team worked to ensure HIPPA compliance, implement smooth API integrations, enmesh ecommerce tools, and create an easy-to-use, custom Craft CMS experience.
Together, Imarc and CosmeticRx were able to produce a wrinkle-free customer experience.
As CosmeticRx began its new brand journey, we embarked on a meticulous exploration of various visual styles, guided by the personas we sought to engage. We crafted a refined, clean, and approachable aesthetic that aligned seamlessly with CosmeticRx's core values. Achieving a harmonious balance between elegance and trustworthiness was paramount in establishing the level of credibility that users expect from an organization in the healthcare realm.

Since the website went live in November 2017, CosmeticRx has seen marked success with its ideal customers.
The strength of this web solution meant that CosmeticRx could expand on their initial success with another Brand, BoldRx, which Imarc was also able and happy to assist with.
